Old Mill and Mill Race
Photo of the Day 74/366
I took this photo last week on one of my lunch time walks. The foliage is just right to capture this image. Once spring is in full swing, it will be almost impossible to see the mill for the greenery. It will almost be impossible to see the mill race for the beauty of the spring, too. During the winter, it’s almost too bare to make a pretty image – and I’m too old to venture into the snow for such things (hah!). In any, case, the timing was right, so the image was good.

I Wanna Play
Images Exposed Daily Photo Challenge
Thursday Expression: This photo is of my daughter-in-law’s cat, Stigfried. This cat has, until very recently, been wild. Would be skittish, run away, play hard-to-get and such. This day, Stig jumped up on the back of a chair and playfully kneaded the chair and looked up, hoping you’d come by and “play”. Stig is still like that, but is now much more loving and will let you pick him up. We have lots of “Stig” stories, but this captures the playful side.
