Sunset at Highland Light
This photo, taken last evening was a surprise. We were trying to get to most of the lighthouses on Cape Cod and this would be the last one for the day. The clouds were gathering on the horizon and as we were driving, I didn’t think we’d make it. I was so wrong. The clouds were perfect companions to this lighthouse. It has an almost spooky beauty about it.

Saturday Choice: I took this photo two days ago at “the Knob” on Cape Cod. The sun had not quite set and I noticed the reflections on the water and decided to try to capture the sun’s reflections on the blue water with the orange sky. The small spit of land on the left offset the glowing ball of the sun and the colors just were outrageous in their color and saturation.
