Clouds Rising from the Sunset

This photo was taken over the weekend while out on a golden hour walk. Sometimes, taking the shot with the sun in it is dramatic, and sometimes it just overpowers the scene. This was taken after the sunset and the clouds we spectacular. I liked how they seemed to rise from behind the tree and from the sunset.

Monday Closeup: This photo was taken about four years ago at one of our local State Parks. I arrived just after a late summer shower and decided to “see what I could see”. Despite getting wet, the rain dripping from the leaves formed a beautiful detail to many of the plants and leave. The yellow and green leaves made this for me.
