Last Kiss of the Sunset

Photo of the Day 196/366

I took this photo last evening. I went to a neighboring lot and sat in the grass next to a field and waited for the sun to skink down into the coming clouds. I got many nice photos but for this day, I chose this one because of the clouds just starting to cover the sun and the brilliant oranges and golds of the sky. The last kiss.

Sunday Street Photography:  I took this photo one evening while at my last job. I had left the office, as I recall, to get a bite to eat and was headed back in. I saw the buildings lit up with my building prominent in the scene. I decided to try to capture it on my phone in black and white with the app Hipstamatic. I like the subtle shades of gray as the clouds low and the way the buildings were still lit up.

Just a guy with interests in photography, karate, and (sigh) work. I post one of my photos and a quote every day. I like to make a beautiful dent in the the negativity of social media. The photos are mine, so please don't reuse without permission. I hope you enjoy!
