Final Touch of the Sun

Photo of the Day 201/366

I took this photo this past week. The view Treally caught my attention. It had been a very hot day and there were few clouds in the sky nearing the time of sunset. I went out for a walk anyway and saw the line of clouds coming out of the west. For a time, they blocked out the sun, but at the very end of the day, the sun showed itself from under the clouds, just before dipping below the horizon. The golden sky at that moment was just blazing and I was sweating but it was worth it.

Barn Wood by Moonlight

Images Exposed Daily Photo Challenge

Friday Creative:  This photo was pulled from my archives. The image was taken a few years ago at our last home. I felt very comfortable walking that road at night, but I do not feel that way where we live now, so few night images. This one was taken of one of our neighbor’s barns and the moonlit wood, the faint red of the barn all just came together.

Just a guy with interests in photography, karate, and (sigh) work. I post one of my photos and a quote every day. I like to make a beautiful dent in the the negativity of social media. The photos are mine, so please don't reuse without permission. I hope you enjoy!
