Setting Sun over the Grassy Field

I took this photo last weekend. The sky was changing very rapidly. When I arrived at my neighbor’s farm, this show was one of the first ones I took. The sunlight was skating off of the grass in the field and the sky was a golden with a few spots of blue. The sun was about to come out of a cloud. Above were storm clouds and to the north were anvil clouds portending to the stronger storms there. But here, things were tranquil enough to get some nice shots.

Jeep at the Ice Cream Shop

Tuesday Daily Life: This photo was taken one our last trip to Maine. We had been walking around a town which we had drive through but never stopped at. We were exploring and I looked across a side street and saw this quaint ice cream shop with a brightly colored Jeep parked in front. I saw a juxtaposition between the old style brick home (turned into an ice cream shop) and the bright, modern Jeep. It just struck a note with me.
