Sunrise Sky over the Creek

Photo of the Day 242/366

The transition from sunsets to sunrises has begun. This was taken on my way to work. Thu sun had actually been up, but the clouds had obscured it and I was able to capture this view on the way in to my office. The gold colors in the sky and the reflections in the creek made for a really nice morning photo. You can see in the water, some geese, which were evident in sound, while I took this photo. They almost seemed to welcome me in.

Thursday Architecture:   This photo was taken from my archives. I like tis view of the skyscrapers in New York City. I remember feeling so small. I’m a relatively short person, but these buildings and in the shadows of these giants, I felt even smaller. But, the buildings are magnificent and, unfortunately, photos to not do the scale justice. They are, in many cases, gigantic and just walking around one will take 15-20 minutes.

Just a guy with interests in photography, karate, and (sigh) work. I post one of my photos and a quote every day. I like to make a beautiful dent in the the negativity of social media. The photos are mine, so please don't reuse without permission. I hope you enjoy!
