Looking Over the Edge

Photo of the Day 268/366

This photo, taken yesterday, was at a “secret” place on Acadia National Park on the Schoodic Peninsula, called Raven’s Nest. The National Park Service does not and will not tell you where it is due to the inherent danger of falling from the cliffs. This photo shows a gent who passed us by on the trail so he could go out to the very edge. I admired his surefooted way but going out that far was not for me. It was a beautiful view of nature’s handiwork.

Quote of the Day: “The beauty is that through disappointment you can gain clarity, and with clarity comes conviction and true originality.” – Conan O’Brien

Hanging Out at the Bar

Images Exposed Daily Photo Challenge

Tuesday Daily Life:  I took this photo last evening while we had dinner while on our Maine vacation. We were eating at a very popular place called the “Thirsty Whale” and the food never disappoints. It is always busy, in season or out of season. It is a friendly and somewhat loud place as most bars are.

Joe Bennett

Just a guy with interests in photography, karate, and (sigh) work. I post one of my photos and a quote every day. I like to make a beautiful dent in the the negativity of social media. The photos are mine, so please don't reuse without permission. I hope you enjoy!
