Parson’s Bridge in Autumn Splendor

Photo of the Day 269/366

I took this photo yesterday on our vacation to Acadia National Park. This bridge is in Sommesville, which is home to the closest thing the US has for a fjord. I always try to get photos of this bridge when I visit Acadia and yesterday did not fail. The flowers and the hints of the beginning of autumn colors were glorious in the sunshine. This year, again, did not disappoint.

Autumn Blooms at Thuya Gardens

Images Exposed Daily Photo Challenge

Wednesday Nature:  When we thought of visiting Thuya Gardens, we were not sure what to expect. We did not think that there would be many flowers blooming.  We were extremely surprised (pleasantly) because there were an amazing variety of flowers in bloom at these gardens. The abundant sunshine helped to make the colors of the flowers and the start of autumn colors just pop.

Just a guy with interests in photography, karate, and (sigh) work. I post one of my photos and a quote every day. I like to make a beautiful dent in the the negativity of social media. The photos are mine, so please don't reuse without permission. I hope you enjoy!
