Late Day Reflections

Photo of the Day 280/366

I took this photo two weeks ago while on vacation. While it was rainy and dreary at home, we had really nice weather and only one rainy day. This image was captured while on a hike along a cove. We had missed the sun setting but the timing was such that the sky was showing us glorious colors and clouds, so I captured the painting that nature gave us.

Quote of the Day: “Without freedom of thought, there can be no such thing as wisdom – and no such thing as public liberty without freedom of speech.” – Benjamin Franklin

Where are We?

Images Exposed Daily Photo Challenge

Sunday Street Photography: This image was taken this past summer in Lancaster, PA.  We were resting behind the Central Market and I noticed this family stopping by the nearby city map. I can see that they are either trying to figure out where they are or where they are going. An image I’m sure that plays out all the time, but the look on the gent on the right made it more interesting – he seems to be listening or, at least, observing their actions.

Just a guy with interests in photography, karate, and (sigh) work. I post one of my photos and a quote every day. I like to make a beautiful dent in the the negativity of social media. The photos are mine, so please don't reuse without permission. I hope you enjoy!
