Autumn Red Through the Pines

Photo of the Day 314/366

When we took a weekend trip to western Pennsylvania, we visited Kentuck Knob on an early Sunday morning. We arrived before the other tourists and we had some quiet time. I noticed these brilliant red trees and leaves showing in the early light through the dark pine trees. The bottom of the frame was finished by the fence and I thought it made for a nice shot.

Colorful Sunrise

Images Exposed Daily Photo Challenge

Saturday Choice: I took this photo one day this week on my way to work. At this time of year, the sunrise is “my time” to try to get photos. At other times, it is sunsets – but I found this one as I was driving. The sun was just topping the hill and I was able to capture the beautiful colors in the sky and the rising sun.

Just a guy with interests in photography, karate, and (sigh) work. I post one of my photos and a quote every day. I like to make a beautiful dent in the the negativity of social media. The photos are mine, so please don't reuse without permission. I hope you enjoy!
