Predawn Sky over Frosty Fields

Photo of the Day 340/366

I took this photo yesterday morning. I saw the sky and tried to add the hanging limbs from a tree. I really liked the gold in the sky against the blue of the hills. The light frost in the field added to the feel of the coming winter season. For me, this is very representative of why I love the area I live in – the view, the country feel to the place, and the open space.

Sky Reflection in a Glass Building

Images Exposed Daily Photo Challenge

Thursday Architecture:  This photo was taken a few years ago in our capital city, Harrisburg. The photo was taken on one of my lunchtime walks. I remember that I was out in the late spring on a mostly sunny day. The clouds reflecting in glass of the building really caught my eye. At the time, I went for the “look” and not for proper position and composition – but I still like the look of this one.

Just a guy with interests in photography, karate, and (sigh) work. I post one of my photos and a quote every day. I like to make a beautiful dent in the the negativity of social media. The photos are mine, so please don't reuse without permission. I hope you enjoy!
