Foggy Autumn Morning
Photo of the Day 347/366
I took this photo a number of years ago at my previous residence. Autumn is my favorite time of the year. I love spring, but the colors, while vibrant, brilliant, and varied, but in autumn, the colors, while less hues, are almost everywhere (at least here). I can’t get enough and have many, many photos and many never see the light of day except on the viewfinder of my camera. Here is one of those.
Quote of the Day: “Patience is waiting. Not passively waiting. That is laziness. But to keep going when the going is hard and slow – that is patience.” – Leo Tolstoy

Thursday Architecture: This photo was taken at my in-laws home. My father-in-law, a former engineer, designed and oversaw the building of this home. He had it situated on ground which oversaw the (very) nearby woods. This was the back door of the home and the autumn view he had. Unfortunately, he and his wife are now in assisted living and can’t enjoy it – but it is still a well built home on beautiful property.
