Late Autumn Sunset Sky

Photo of the Day 350/366

This photo was taken late last week on my way home from work. I saw the colors fading as I got in my car to head out from work. As I topped a hill, I noted that the sun had, indeed, set, but that the sky hadn’t noticed yet. It was worth pulling off the road and grabbing a few shots of the sky and surrounding hills and terrain. In truth, I’d like to see the view that the home in the center of the shot – it’s in between hills for a nice sunrise and sunset.

Sunday Street Photography: This photo was taken a few weeks ago. My wife and I decided to take a drive to a nearby lake. This lake is man-made and is built and built for the community. There is a path around it and benches all along the path. Despite the cool temperatures, some folks just sat on a bench and soaked in the sunshine and enjoyed the afternoon. This lady was one of them and I managed to capture her image.

Just a guy with interests in photography, karate, and (sigh) work. I post one of my photos and a quote every day. I like to make a beautiful dent in the the negativity of social media. The photos are mine, so please don't reuse without permission. I hope you enjoy!
