Sunset Sky Over the New Snow

Photo of the Day 4/365

It snowed yesterday and it was very pretty, but the sunset sky on the way home was the decorations on the icing on the cake. The sky’s colors were spectacular. It had been gray and snowing most of the day – and it continued into the evening, but one break in the sky, just after sunset, gave us this view. It was, indeed, glorious.

Quote of the Day: “Sat    In today’s rush we all think too much, seek too much, want too much, and forget about the joy of just being.” – Eckhart Tolle

Deer in the Fresh Snow

Images Exposed Daily Photo Challenge

Saturday Choice: On the way home, I tried to take many photos as the sky went through sunset changes. When I took a quick breather and looked down, I saw these deer, far off in the fields below. They were all attentive to what I was doing but not running. I was able to get a few shots before I had to leave. My choice for the day!
