Cold Morning at the Creek

Photo of the Day 9/365

I took this photo 2 days ago on my way to work. The sky was almost clear with very few clouds and it was very cold. When I got to campus, I saw the soft colors in the sky, the few clouds which had some color, and the still water in the creek – I put on the hazard blinkers, jumped out and snapped a new photos. This was one of them.

Thursday Analogous Color:  I’m not all up on analogous color, but I think it had to do with three adjacent colors in the color wheel, but I’m not sure. I’ve got to read more into it when I have time, but this is the best first attempt. It may not be perfect, but I liked it anyway. I’ll keep working on the color-theory, though.

Just a guy with interests in photography, karate, and (sigh) work. I post one of my photos and a quote every day. I like to make a beautiful dent in the the negativity of social media. The photos are mine, so please don't reuse without permission. I hope you enjoy!
