Winter Slope at Sunset

Photo of the Day 26/365

This photo was shot about 2 weeks ago – we were getting past a moderate snow and one could still see the stubble of plants through the snow. This sloped field is one that, I think, kids would love to use as a sledding hill but for property reasons, do not. The view, however, is outstanding, especially at sunset. The sky was on fire the night I took this one.

Morning after an Ice Storm

Images Exposed Daily Photo Challenge

Sunday Monochrome:  This photo was originally taken a few years ago after an ice storm. Despite the original blue sky, the photo was so monochromatic, that I decided to edit it that way and this was the result. I really like it in monochrome.  It was very pretty but someone dangerous to be out and about that morning – the icy roads were just melting – but worth it.

Just a guy with interests in photography, karate, and (sigh) work. I post one of my photos and a quote every day. I like to make a beautiful dent in the the negativity of social media. The photos are mine, so please don't reuse without permission. I hope you enjoy!
