Sunset on the Trees and Field

There was a beautiful sunset a week or so ago. Because the sun did not shine very well through the trees, I didn’t post it. The more I looked and worked with this photo, the more I liked it and today, I decided to post it. I’m not sure how much more snow we’ll get this season, but this photo shows the beauty of a simple sunset, the stark trees, and the snowy field.

Wednesday Design: This photo was taken a number of years ago. I always liked it for the lack of people, the repeating patterns of the stairways, the light and shadows, and the composition. I’ve not posted it anyhwere before because it never “fit” – but in this category, it seems the right place at the right time – design.
