Frosty Morning Sunrise

Photo of the Day 37/365

This photo was taken before the major snowfalls this year. The morning was cold andthe sunset was awesome. The person who owns this property puts out rods at the edge of the road when snow starts and I can no longer pull off to take photos. I believe it’s to help direct the snowplows but it’s an annoyance to me. There will be few from this vantage point until spring. But this one was a good one.

Thursday Analogous Colors: While trying to adhere to this theme – it gets tough (for me) to find these colors without it being artificial, esepecially in the winter.  So I dove through my archives and found this one from the St. Louis bridge over the Mississippi River. The yellows, oranges and reds fit the bill for the theme, I believe – and it’ was a pretty sky, too.

Just a guy with interests in photography, karate, and (sigh) work. I post one of my photos and a quote every day. I like to make a beautiful dent in the the negativity of social media. The photos are mine, so please don't reuse without permission. I hope you enjoy!
