Cold Winter Morning at the Creek

Photo of the Day 44/365

I took the photo earlier on my way to work. This creek, the Yellow Breeches, provides so many things to folks (adults and students) on our campus.  In the spring and fall, students can be found in hammocks hung on the trees, or sitting and studying as adults fish or just look about at nature, In the warmer weather there are “tubers” and kayakers and in the colder months, the geese and folks like me (photographers) can be found trying to capture something special.

Thursday Analogous Colors: This theme, to put it plainly, is difficult for me. I struggle to force myself into taking photos of particular “color swatches”. So, I comb my archives to find those photos where fate or nature provide the right pallette. This photos, in reds, oranges and golds, should, I hope, provide that swatch of colors to match today’s theme.

Just a guy with interests in photography, karate, and (sigh) work. I post one of my photos and a quote every day. I like to make a beautiful dent in the the negativity of social media. The photos are mine, so please don't reuse without permission. I hope you enjoy!
