Windswept Winter Sunset Sky

Photo of the Day 50/365

This photo was taken a bit ago after a snow – I was out and about and happened to see this scene unfold over the valley. You can see the farm in the distance and the orange and golden clouds above. The light even reflected in the snow. It was a cold sunset, but these scenes make it worth braving the cold (even for a brief moment) to get this kind of photo.

Outdoor Fountain in the Early Morning

Images Exposed Daily Photo Challenge

Wednesday Design: This photo was taken many years ago when I worked for our state government. This fountain was in front of our building and I grabbed this photo on one of my many early mornings. The sky was particularly pretty that morning and the fountain was lit so I tried a photo with my camera and got lucky. This photo was likely taken with a point and shoot from the early 2000’s – so I didn’t get good low light shots very often.

Just a guy with interests in photography, karate, and (sigh) work. I post one of my photos and a quote every day. I like to make a beautiful dent in the the negativity of social media. The photos are mine, so please don't reuse without permission. I hope you enjoy!
