Spotty Sunrise Clouds

Photo of the Day 67/365

This photo was taken one morning over the past couple of weeks. The sun gets higher until Daylight Savings Time comes in (tomorrow) and messes with my mentai schedule and my photography schedule. In any case, without the clouds partially hiding the sun, this would not have worked – but luckily for me, they were there and this photo came out great!

Midnight Sun in Alaska

Images Exposed Daily Photo Challenge

Saturday Nature: On our 25th anniversary (17 years ago) – we toured Alaska by road, train, and sea. On our interior journey, we stayed in cabins and were able to see the mountains and in this case, I was able to experience (for better or worse) the midnight sun.  It was 1:30am when I took this photo – and I fully understand why some have blackout curtains. It was still a beautiful, once-in-a-lifetime esperience.

Joe Bennett

Just a guy with interests in photography, karate, and (sigh) work. I post one of my photos and a quote every day. I like to make a beautiful dent in the the negativity of social media. The photos are mine, so please don't reuse without permission. I hope you enjoy!
