Setting Sun and a Lonley Tree

Photo of the Day 75/365

I took this photothis past weekend on a walk with my youngest. From the clouds, I knew the sunset would not be one of the “spectacular” ones but I still enjoyeed the company and the walk and I tried to capture a few shots that caught my eye. This one tree was alone in the clearing and the sun, just behind it made for a good photo, for me.

Sunday Monochrome: I shot this photo this past weekend while out on a walk. I used an app on my iPhone for this one. The app is called “Firstlight” and I feel it gives me the best monochrome images, expecially in the infrared mode.  At this point in my walk, the sky was mostly washed out and I thought the wider view in black and white gave the image that dramatic feel.

Just a guy with interests in photography, karate, and (sigh) work. I post one of my photos and a quote every day. I like to make a beautiful dent in the the negativity of social media. The photos are mine, so please don't reuse without permission. I hope you enjoy!
