Sunset in the Farm Valley

Photo of the Day 82/365

I saw this view yesterday but not like this. Yesterday, we laid to rest my father-in-law and this view was always on display on the road shortly before we went to see him or when we left. I choset this photo in honor of those memories. This photo was real and how I saw it on one of our many trips to his place to see him. RIP Jerry, you will be missed -but now you are with your family and friends who passed before.

Capital and a Coming Storm

Images Exposed Daily Photo Challenge

Sunday Monochrome: This photo was pulled from my archives and was taken over a decade ago when I worked in our Capital City. I remeber the storm and how dark it looked and how it was making the daylight surrender to it. Later, I was able to capture lightning bolts from this storm – but that’s another photo.

Joe Bennett

Just a guy with interests in photography, karate, and (sigh) work. I post one of my photos and a quote every day. I like to make a beautiful dent in the the negativity of social media. The photos are mine, so please don't reuse without permission. I hope you enjoy!
