Misty Day on the River

Photo of the Day 85/365

This photo was taken several years ago when we still had our cabin. We had gone on a drive from there and found a boat launch near the river and I decided to do a little exploring. I came down to a small spit of land and saw this nice view up the river. It was mid-morning and with the weather, no one was there, so the water was quiet and still. It made for a nice landscape.

Wednesday Design: This photo was taken about a year ago on a bus trip to Washington DC. We were trying to see the cherry blossoms but the tour were late by about a week. Nature doesn’t follow the bus schedules so I made the best of it by taking street shots and whatever caught my eye. This building really stood out and while the building is plain, the paint-job is not. I liked the artwork.

Just a guy with interests in photography, karate, and (sigh) work. I post one of my photos and a quote every day. I like to make a beautiful dent in the the negativity of social media. The photos are mine, so please don't reuse without permission. I hope you enjoy!
