Country Road at Sunset
This photo was taken last weekend. We went out for a drive and coming down the hill, I was cursing the power lines (despite the utility, they ruin many photos) – and I noted that the sun was aabout to set and I wanted the view of this barn wiht the fence from the orchard. I managed to move to get the power lines out of the way but the sun just blew through the photo. Despite the harsh light, I really like this shot.

Monday Closeup: This photo was taken some time ago. The sweet pea is a fairly small flower and was growing in our garden. The bright pink offset the green of the leaves in the brilliant summer sunshine. Those were much simpler days where simple things caught my eye – but times change and so do we.
