This photo is from my archives and I love this photo in so many ways. It brings back really positive memories of our trips to Cape May. I remember capturing this photo as the sun was setting behind us. The moment was a very brief one where people weren’t around us and the sound of the ocean was all that mattered.

Sunday Nature: I took this photo about a month ago while on an outing to a local lake and state park. We were walking from the lake along a local stream when I noticed rapids. I tried many angles to get a photo of the moving water, but this one intrigued me with the bridge in the background and the branches. I want to go back when the foliage is in place to give the scene more color, but this is as it was.
