Pretty Summer Sunrise

We’re now approaching the time for more sunrises than sunsets – at least until Daylight Savings Time starts. The sunsets are too early for my schedule for me to get shots of them. So I get what I can and this was taken yesterday morning on my way to work. I really liked the blue sky coming through above the gray clouds with the gold on the horizon – it made for a nice contrast.

Tuesday Daily Life: I took this photo last week and this is my youngest. She gets me out of the house sometimes at sunset. Mostly she likes to walk and takes the opportunity to cajole me into a walk when I’m tired after a long day. It is almost always worth it – this day, we went out early and the sun hadn’t set yet so she decided to relax while I made photos so I decided to make on of her.
