Through the Field at Sunrise

Photo of the Day 262/366

This photo was taken at a nearby State Game Lands early one morning. The sun had just cleared the trees and the light glinted off of the field grass and other nearby plants. The yellow sky could not be brought “under control” without losing the detail in the field, so I let the exposure of the sunlight be over-bright. I liked this ever since I took the shot and still like it.

Virginia Creeper on a Stone Wall

Images Exposed Daily Photo Challenge

Wednesday Nature:  This photo was taken a few years ago near our previous home. I was out on a long walk and found an old stone wall sitting off of the road.  I investigated and took a number of photos but I like this one the best. The variance of colors from green to red, with the different textures just make this one a nice shot, to me.

Joe Bennett

Just a guy with interests in photography, karate, and (sigh) work. I post one of my photos and a quote every day. I like to make a beautiful dent in the the negativity of social media. The photos are mine, so please don't reuse without permission. I hope you enjoy!
