Sunrise Breaking over the Field and Pond

Photo of the Day 264/366

I took this photo yesterday morning on the way to work. It was my last attempt before taking off for a needed vacation. Just the right moment on the way to work – I just pulled off the road and jumped out and took this with my iPhone. I’d love to have gotten closer to the pond, but it IS private property and I don’t want to appear to be a creeper – the water is down right now.  Sometimes there is more water and even geese or ducks – but at this time, I just had to take what I could get.

Circular Sculpture

Images Exposed Daily Photo Challenge

Friday Creative:  I took this photo a few years ago while on a business trip to St. Louis, Missouri. There was a sculpture garden that we happened to find. There were many interesting sculptures – mostly of a modernist nature. That type is not to my liking, normally, but the presentation and, perhaps, the time I visited (last afternoon) made it much more enjoyable. I like this one for the repeating circles.

Joe Bennett

Just a guy with interests in photography, karate, and (sigh) work. I post one of my photos and a quote every day. I like to make a beautiful dent in the the negativity of social media. The photos are mine, so please don't reuse without permission. I hope you enjoy!
