Late Afternoon Path to the Ocean

Photo of the Day 272/366

I took this photo yesterday afternoon. It was the last evening we had on Mt. Desert Island for the year. We visited one of our favorite cottages (Sunset Cottages of Acadia) and they were so gracious to allow us to show off the property to my sister and her husband.  The property did not disappoint and we got some great shots and this is one is a favorite. The path I’ve walked MANY times to a sunset. Now we have to head home with some great memories.

Evening View of the Margaret Todd

Images Exposed Daily Photo Challenge

Saturday Choice:  I took this photo a couple of nights ago on our way back from a jaunt to downtown Bar Harbor for some shopping and dinner. It was dark and as we got to the harbor, the staff had the ship, the Margaret Todd, all lit up and I didn’t want to miss a chance as I’d never seen it lit up like this. I was a great memory.

Just a guy with interests in photography, karate, and (sigh) work. I post one of my photos and a quote every day. I like to make a beautiful dent in the the negativity of social media. The photos are mine, so please don't reuse without permission. I hope you enjoy!
