Sun Shining through the Autumn Woods

I took this photo last weekend while out on a walk. I noticed the sun shining through the woods in a spot near to our home. I worked more than a few angles to try to remove other trees and branches to capture just this group of trees with the sun shining in behind them. The transition from summer greens to autumn oranges and golds is what the start of Autumn is all about.

Sunday Street Photography: I took this photo while on our Maine vacation last month. We were waiting to be seated for breakfast when I noticed this staircase. The words try lead customers up the stairs to a restaurant, but the the object could be an octopus tentacle or a stream of water (I know, I’m seeing things), but I like the “flow” of the whole picture.
