Old Barn Against an Autumn Hill
Photo of the Day 305/366
This photo is, in reality, very old – in today’s terms. It was taken by my father, in my teen years, on film. The image is likely 45-50 years old and I know it’s from northern Pennsylvania (where I grew up). My father may not have been the best person, but he did many things for me, including introducing me to photography with images like this. After his passing, I scanned in and edited a large number of his images, this was one of them – his vision still holds strong today.

Images Exposed Daily Photo Challenge
Thursday Architecture: We took a long weekend trip to see a number of Frank Lloyd-Wright homes in western Pennsylvania recently. We had seen Fallingwater before, but only from the outside and without a guide. This time we got a tour and saw the inside, as well (more photos, probably, later). Fallingwater is a wonderful example of Lloyd-Wright’s ideas – in many cases, not very “livable” but good ideas, nonetheless.
