Farmstead across an Autumn Valley

Photo of the Day 309/366

This photo is also from my way-back archives. It was taken on film and I am trying to save the best images from my film collection (both mine and my fathers). This photo was taken in northern Pennsylvania at least 50 years ago. The old negatives and slides are slowly fading and I have scanned many in, but they need serious editing and this one did, as well.  I thought it came out well and truly represents what my dad and I would have seen.

Images Exposed Daily Photo Challenge

Monday Monochrome:  This photo was taken last week. When I went out to photography the beautiful colors of a sunset, that there was a wild, curly cloud that seemed brighter than the rest. I decided to try to photograph that part of the sky in monochrome to show it better. It still doesn’t quite show the brightness, but it does the best it can to represent it.

Joe Bennett

Just a guy with interests in photography, karate, and (sigh) work. I post one of my photos and a quote every day. I like to make a beautiful dent in the the negativity of social media. The photos are mine, so please don't reuse without permission. I hope you enjoy!
