This photo was taken at my second stop on the way to the office, yesterday. I was just able to catch the sun as it was rising over the hill. The fence and tree made for a very nice foreground and the rolling field and hills “ground” the photo. The clouds were awesome yesterday and this scene just brought the whole image together for me.

Wednesday Nature: This photo was taken two years ago while my wife and I were in Maine. We had decided to hike up a “mountain”. The mountain, while strenuous for an old guy like me, didn’t seem like much – but when we got there the fog rolled in and then the rain. The weather didn’t stop me taking pictures, but there were no sweeping vistas or panoramas – it was the forest, instead.
