Trees Reaching into the Dawn Sky

Photo of the Day 339/366

I took this photo last week on the way to work. The sky was almost outrageous with brilliant colors. When I pulled over to try to capture something – I wanted to include more than the sky. I looked and saw an angle where I could get the tree in the center of the foreground. I usually don’t have much time in the morning as I’m must pulled off the road with my 4-way flashers on, so I had to move quickly. It’s not as good as I’d like – but I still love this shot.

Autumn Leaves along the Road

Images Exposed Daily Photo Challenge

Wednesday Nature: This photo was taken on one of our trips to the western part of the state (PA). I remember pulling off the back roads at various points and times and here is what I recall on this one. We had just gotten out of the car to look around and I looked back behind the car and I saw the tree we had just passed with the curving road behind it. I used a shallow depth of field to try to keep the emphasis on the leaves – I think it worked here.

Just a guy with interests in photography, karate, and (sigh) work. I post one of my photos and a quote every day. I like to make a beautiful dent in the the negativity of social media. The photos are mine, so please don't reuse without permission. I hope you enjoy!
