Cold Sunrise Sky

Photo of the Day 12/365

This photo was taken yesterday morning while on a road trip to teach a women’s self-defense course. I was in the passenger seat in the front and saw the sky in front of us. For about 5 minutes, the sun rose and kept going in and out behind clouds. This was the first shot I tried and with a little editing, it was what I saw. There only two photos that were good but from a moving car, I thought it very nice.

Sunday Monochrome: I took this photo some time ago at our last residence. We were in a very rural environment and this farm shows up in many of my archive photos. As I recall, the day was warming after a snowfall and the fog/mist was rising. This made for damp walk, but some very pretty scenery. This was one of those and I believe using a monochrome mode made the best image.

Just a guy with interests in photography, karate, and (sigh) work. I post one of my photos and a quote every day. I like to make a beautiful dent in the the negativity of social media. The photos are mine, so please don't reuse without permission. I hope you enjoy!
