Cold Sunset on the Dock

Photo of the Day 15/365

It’s been cloudy and cold over the past few days, so I decided to pull a photo from my archives. This one was taken at our local state park where there is a lake. Not many people venture to the lake shore in the winter so I could get out on the deck by myself. I got down low to get this shot of the reflection light coming through the docking cleat – it was cold, but so pretty.

Wednesday Design: This photo was taken, I believe, on one of my business trips to San Francisco. When I’m alone on business trips (infrequent now), I get to walk and be more free to be creative in photographing whatever caches my eye. This combination of structures, although not intentional, provides an element of “design” for me. Maybe it was “my” design that put them together, but I like it, nonetheless.

Just a guy with interests in photography, karate, and (sigh) work. I post one of my photos and a quote every day. I like to make a beautiful dent in the the negativity of social media. The photos are mine, so please don't reuse without permission. I hope you enjoy!
