Simple Sunset through the Pines

Photo of the Day 28/365

This photo was taken two days ago on a “sunset walk”. The sun had just about fallen behind the far trees when I spied it between these two pine trees. I noted the snow in the foreground and the blue sky above fading into the golden glow of the sunset. I liked the layers of tones and colors and the “peek-a-boo” view of the setting sun. A nice way to end the day.

Touching the Plasma Ball

Images Exposed Daily Photo Challenge

Tuesday Free Choice: This photo has been sitting in my archives for years. I’ve always like the “action” of the lightning inside the ball going out to meet the finger (my son’s finger and he’s now 31). We were at a science museum and I managed to get this. I’ve kept it and not posted it before, but it is, today, my choice.

Just a guy with interests in photography, karate, and (sigh) work. I post one of my photos and a quote every day. I like to make a beautiful dent in the the negativity of social media. The photos are mine, so please don't reuse without permission. I hope you enjoy!
