Winter Sky before the Dawn

Photo of the Day 29/365

I took this photo yesterday morning from my car window on the way t work. The sky was just lit up with brilliant golds and yellows while the clouds stayed the typical steel gray. If you see my other photos, you know that I love sunrises and sunsets – but the snow keeps me from just “pulling off” the road to grab a show so I get what I can from just stopping or, if I’m lucky, find a parking spot to grab a few shots.

Old Pontiac Radiator Cap

Images Exposed Daily Photo Challenge

Wednesday Design: This photo was taken when my father-in-law had a 1926 Pontiac. He loved that car and had it restored to running condition. We had a few rides in it over the years. Sadly, when he moved, he had to sell it. This photo is of the radiator cap from that car – it was a representation of Pontiac, a native-American chief. I thought this a neat design and had to take a photo to do it justice.

Just a guy with interests in photography, karate, and (sigh) work. I post one of my photos and a quote every day. I like to make a beautiful dent in the the negativity of social media. The photos are mine, so please don't reuse without permission. I hope you enjoy!
