 Shed Alone in the Field

Photo of the Day 41/365

My wife and I were out shopping yesterday and on the way home, we decided to take “the scenic route” on the way home. We live in her home area so she knows many back roads. We passed by a number of farms but this one, lonely, shed caught my ey. It was out in the field well beyond the other farm buildings and seemed alone. With the short stubble field and the cloudy blue sky, I thought this came together for a pretty shot after a cold icy weekend.

Yes, There are Dragons

Images Exposed Daily Photo Challenge

Monday Fill-the-Frame: This photo was taken in out karate school. One day, when I was early, I was hunding for a subject to photograph. I wanted something unusual – I’m the dojo photographer, so I’ve taken photos of almost everyone and everything there. This dragon has been there for some time as it represents our style’s founder, Tatsuo Shimabuku – but I saw a different angle with the shadow and light – so I took it.

Just a guy with interests in photography, karate, and (sigh) work. I post one of my photos and a quote every day. I like to make a beautiful dent in the the negativity of social media. The photos are mine, so please don't reuse without permission. I hope you enjoy!
