Snowy Morning View on Campus

Photo of the Day 42/365

We’ve had many all-day meetings at work lately and I took the time to take some photos before the meetings started. Not many of the images came out to my taste, but I save this one. The sidewalks spreading out below and the sunlight and sky made the image come together for me. Add a few students walking to morning class, an the image was done.

Quote of the Day: “Courage is almost a contradiction in terms. It means a strong desire to live taking the form of readiness to die.” – GK. Chesterton

Images Exposed Daily Photo Challenge

Tuesday Free Choice: This photo, taken a little more than a decade ago, was from a winter trip to New York City with my wife and kids. We walked all over the city. As I recall (and I could be wrong) this image was taken near Bryant Park. It was cold, but my kids were much younger and were excited for the coming Christamas and the sites we say. The trees reaching up with the building helped the composition, as well.

Just a guy with interests in photography, karate, and (sigh) work. I post one of my photos and a quote every day. I like to make a beautiful dent in the the negativity of social media. The photos are mine, so please don't reuse without permission. I hope you enjoy!
