Sunrise Breaking Through the Trees

Photo of the Day 45/365

This photo was taken earler and now truly represents what I saw that morning. It can be very frustrating when the camera just doens’t give the vibrant colors and subtle differences in color that our eyes see. So, I’m not a purist and settle for “out of the camera”, especially with landscapes. I want others to see what I saw – and this image now shows what I saw during that glorious sunrise.

Quote of the Day: “Discovering the truth about ourselves is a lifetime’s work, but it’s worth the effort.” – Fred Rogers

Reeds by the Water

Images Exposed Daily Photo Challenge

Saturday Nature: I took this photo two summers ago while on a “city walk” with my daughter. We walked along the canal in a local city and I saw the sun shining on these reeds by the muddy water in the canal . I could not get any closer without falling in.  I have never published this image before – I liked it but it just didn’t seem to fit the “good enough” category until now.

Just a guy with interests in photography, karate, and (sigh) work. I post one of my photos and a quote every day. I like to make a beautiful dent in the the negativity of social media. The photos are mine, so please don't reuse without permission. I hope you enjoy!
