Barn in the Afternoon

Photo of the Day 55/365

This photo was taken a couple of weeks ago while out on a drive with my wife. We were driving through some local farm country in the afternoon. The sun was out but the clouds were coming. The fields and trees are bare. A very country scene but I can’t wait for the spring colors and warmth. I love old barns and the memories they bring back of my youth – this one is no exception.

Monday Fill-the-Frame: This photo was taken a few years ago at a fancy local auto show. It wasn’t the “new” automobils but true expensive and classic cars. This photo languished in my archive for some time as I did not quite know what to do with it. I love the color but this venue finally fit the photo – fill the frame.

Just a guy with interests in photography, karate, and (sigh) work. I post one of my photos and a quote every day. I like to make a beautiful dent in the the negativity of social media. The photos are mine, so please don't reuse without permission. I hope you enjoy!
