Wild Sunset Sky over the Field

Photo of the Day 70/365

This photo was taken from my archives – but could have been taken yesterday. The sunset was later in the day and I was occupied with training – but it was a similar night when this photo was taken. The location is about a mile from my home and in warmer weather, I enjoy walking to this spot.  The sky that night was wild looking althought it was a calm, beautiful evening.

Tuesday Choice: This photo was taken in my location ever – Acadia National Park in Maine. I keep going back, almost every year, and enjoy many memories of sights seen (and many captured). I’m just starting to learn to enjoy sights, even when I can’t capture them. However, this photo captures many of my favorite parts of main – rocky coast, ocean and surf, and (many time), glorious skies. The sounds of surf, gulls, and, occasionally, loons, and the sights, are what draws me back.

Just a guy with interests in photography, karate, and (sigh) work. I post one of my photos and a quote every day. I like to make a beautiful dent in the the negativity of social media. The photos are mine, so please don't reuse without permission. I hope you enjoy!
