Reaching to the heavens
As I walked up the old logging roads, the wind whistled by and the clouds moved quickly in the sky. I rounded a bend in the old road and came across a solitary tree reaching up and up. It was taller than it’s neighbors and seemed to stand alone. I could not resist taking this photo up from the bottom.

Reminds me of Jack and the beanstake
What Peter said, doubled. Did you have to kneel down to take this photo?
I didn’t have to kneel – the tree is so tall that I stood on the root ball at the base
I have to agree with Camellia and Peter Jack and the bean stock great angle
