Simple pink peony in the afternoon sunshine
My wife and I were walking our dog when she said, “look over there, the pink peonies have finally bloomed!”. The white ones had been blooming for about a week, but the pink ones had lagged behind. This one just seemed to stand out from the others and the light on the flower and the texture of the leaves just stood out to me.

I was told that this looked fake. Believe me, it wasn’t. The lighting is what nature gave me – I just collected the photons. My son even told me, “Dad, I know just which flower that was” because he saw it too. Thanks everyone!
