If we create art in all it forms, is there a part of us in it. Do we put some humanity in our creative works. Is it just the urge to create a mirror for feelings, parts that are lost or hidden inside us that we are trying to let loose on the world. Turning stone into faces, taking light and make photos with it.
How much from us is inside it, just wondering this with my morning coffee.
Not ask me what was in the coffee.
This is the coffee running through my brains
This work is called ” Greening II“, by Monique Donckers and it stands in the Botanical garden in Antwerp.
Love the last image Peter!
In my simple interpretation, art is the motion (spark, energy etc.) of creativity that comes from the divine and is a constant in each of us and the universe!
Something extremely strong in that coffee…turned you into such a philospher. Your words make me think…how much of us is inside our art?? I scrolled up and down to see which one of your perspectives I like the best and the last one is the one that trully grabs my attention. Something about the focus in the middlle and the bluriness of the other two faces is just eye appealing and then, in this case, monochrome speaks the loudest. Very nice! You should this amazing coffee on a regular basis 😉
