Duffus Castle is built on a man-made mound inland from the Moray coast in Scotland. The castle has endured numerous vicissitudes including a subsidence in the mound which caused a partial collapse and a devastating fire. There remains enough of the structure though that it was able to provide us with shelter from a rainstorm.
So moody and dramatic. Perfect in monochrome
Lovely set of shots, it’s a beautiful site isn’t it? Lossiemouth was my home town, a few 😉 years ago 🙂
Abigail you know how I feel about monchrome but these captures are truly stunning. I believe in color they would not look as brilliant. #5 the way you have captured that light coming in from above on the face, excellent!
Wow, just wow … beautiful BnW photos, Abigail!!
These are beautiful, Abby. The first one is very dramatic; it would make a great opening shot for a movie.
