Recently we vacationed at a place next door to a fancy country club. The club was so fancy that they had a genuine competition-level croquet lawn. It was so fancy that they encouraged people to dress completely in white when playing croquet. Two days in a row I saw this foursome of ladies out there whacking away at croquet balls while looking very proper.
